BANANA CHASE
This is a picture of the best dream ever. Click the thumbnail to make it big and awesome. I'm not even kidding. This is a picture of the best dream ever.
The Dream
You're being chased by a gigantic banana. Forever.
I have this dream twice a week. Pretty sweet, eh? Yeah, I know. It rules. Forget Alice and that pansy Cheshire Cat. This is the real deal.
Anyway, I went to www.dreamdoctor.com (a site on the interweb that offers free dream analyses) to find out if there was some deeper significance to this banana business. On the site, you can fill out an online form, and you'll get an /3mail telling you how messed up you are the hidden meaning behind your dream.
My Submission to dreamdoctor.com
"A huge banana is chasing me. I run from it. Neither the banana nor I ever tire. I keep running, and the banana keeps chasing. This goes on for what seems like days. In my opinion, the dream is pretty clutch."
Their Response
"Food in dreams is a symbol of spiritual or emotional nourishment. Food in dreams also may reflect a dreamer's waking life issues with weight and body image.
"The chase is a common metaphor for feelings of being 'pursued' by disturbing fears and emotions. Typical chase themes include pursuit by attackers who will hurt, rape, or possibly kill the dreamer, with the dreamer then experiencing all the commotion of running away, hiding, and out-maneuvering the potential attacker. Chase dreams also can reflect literal fears of physical attack, or feelings of unwanted sexual attention."
I'm Not Even Freakin' Kidding, You Guys
I know what you're thinking: "That was the lamest response in human history. It didn't even mention how 'Banana Chase' is the best dream ever." Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. So I went to www.google.com to look for some better information...
...but somehow, this is the only site that came up.
In Conclusion
There's nothing cooler than being chased around by a giant banana for an eternity while you sleep, so I encourage everyone to have this dream. "But Murray James," someone will say, "I can't control what I dream at night".
Not with that attitude, you can't! My advice: you must try to dream the "Banana Chase" dream. Try hard, because it's the best dream ever. Stand on the side of the road, trying to dream the "Banana Chase" dream for busfare, and then walk home. The busfare is a ruse; all you care about is dreaming that you're being chased around forever by an enormous freakin' banana.
Sweet dreams!
