JOHN CORIGLIANO
My original plan was to make a somewhat humorous tribute to John Corigliano, a modern composer I greatly admire. I started working on it, but soon, the jokes were so numerous and the sarcasm so thick, it seemed I was ridiculing instead of honoring the man. Instead of jettisoning the humor, I decided to make two pages: one serious, the other definitely unserious and irreverent-to-the-point-of-mockery.
